The CEO of JETTY Rubber Cooperation, Dr Upjit Singh Sachdeva has donated several food items to Muslims in Margibi and Bong Counties.
The donation, according to Dr Sachdeva, is his way of identifying with Liberian Muslims in Bong and Margibi counties during the Holy Month of Ramadan.
He added that the gestures to the Muslim Community are in fulfilment of his continued commitment to supporting Muslims and Christian communities throughout the country during their holidays.
Jetty boss termed the donations to Muslims in both counties and other parts of the country as a regular phenomenon that he continues to enjoy doing.
For their part, beneficiaries applaud Dr Upjit Singh Sachdeva for his kind gestures and promised to use the donation for its purpose intended.
Accordingly, this is the first of its kind for a company to identify with them by distributing food items and cash during their holy month of fasting and prayers.
