Bong County:

Bong County Superintendent, Esther Walker, has admitted to supporting Unity Party’s Prince Moye, over her party’s candidate, Henry Yallah in the December 2020 Senatorial Election.

In another leaked audio, Superintendent Walker is heard confessing that she supported former Deputy Speaker, Prince Moye over CDC’s Henry Yallah because Yallah didn’t work for the people of Bong County during his nine years spell.

Madam Walker further clarified that it was never a crime to support Moye despite her position as National Women League Chair of the governing Coalition for Democratic Change.

Madam Walker said she and other local officials were threatened by hierarchies of the governing CDC that failure on their part to support former Senator Yallah would have led to their suspension and or dismissal, something she described as a complete trash.

The Bong County Superintendent further explained in the leaked audio that she was tired working under a regime where no appointed official has the right to make independent decisions.

It is understood that Madam Walker has since her suspension sometimes ago being in bed politically with former Deputy Speaker Moye, who is a well known spy on the CDC led government.

During her suspension, Senator Moye reportedly provided a monthly compensation of thirty thousand Liberian Dollars to Madam Walker, and allegedly aided the Bong Superintendent’s son, Philip Bestlow, escape justice after raping a teen in Bong County.

Superintendent Walker further said in the audio that her relationship with Senator Moye is more cherished than hers with the governing CDC where she alleged that no one is allowed to make independent decision.

When contacted by IMAGE TV-LIBERIA, Madam Walker reiterated her statement in the audio, stating that her life is not tied around the CDC government, and will continue to speak and make critical decisions in the County regardless of her alignment with the governing party.

She has once again come under serious public condemnations for betraying and disrespecting the mandate of the party that made her relevant in the Country.

Meanwhile, citizens of Bong County are calling on President George Weah to with immediate effect dismiss Madam Walker on grounds that she is not in the interest of the government.
