The Young Leaders Empowerment forum (YOLEFO) Kick Starts A Two Days Intensive Leadership and Career Development Training In Gbarnga, Bong County.

The young leaders Empowerment forum (YOLEFO) is currently holding two days intensive leadership and career development training at Gbarnga YMCA multi purpose Youth center.

The program is being held Under the theme, “Breaking the fabric in leadership and ceerrer development in Liberia”.

The Young Leaders Empowerment Froum is a youthful organization founded in March 2021 of this year in Gbarnga, Bong County.

Giving the Over view of the training at the start of the program the CEO and founder Amb. N. Franklin D. Lablah, narrated the organization was established in order to change the narratives of young people in Bong and adjecent counties.

Mr. Lablah explained that the two days career and leadership development training program is focusing on high schools students in Gbarnga.

He name the Dolokelen Gboveh, AG mission, William VS Tubman Gray, EJ Yancy in Totota lower Bong County among others as academic institution in Gbarnga to benefit from the training.

The YOLEFO CEO believes that bringing new version of leaders with good minds & behaviors for generational and social benefits remain the organization major undertaking in Bong County.

Mr. Lablah narrated that improving young people through career development skills training programs will greatly help Liberians especially younths in achieving their goals most especially students in Leadership.

The ( YOLEFO) Boss told Journalists that the training is targeting twenty five youthsl most especially students in the county.

He believes that after the training, participants will be knowledgeable about the development of career and leadership on their various school campuses in Gbarnga.

The Young emerging Leader Franklin Lablah, used the medium to encourage young people of the county to take advantage of the two days intensive training if they must be valuable in society.

He caution, humanitarians, philanthropist organizations, Government officials and other good will individuals to help support the dream of the organization in the county

He believes when the young leaders Empowerment forum (YOLEFO) is supported there will be changes in attitudes and minds of youth across the Country.

Meanwhile a facilitating member of the training Madam Marline Tokpa Jarwoe who spoke during the symposium narrated that bad leadership development isn’t a good narrative for emerging Leaders in Liberia.

The Bong County civil societies chairperson named the characteristics of bad leadership stating that bad leaders fail to see the strengths of team mate and just don’t listen to their citizens who elected them in various offices.

Also making remarks, Bong County electoral district 5 Representative Hon Edward W.Karfiah who supported the program narrated that helping young people in Bong County will continue to be his major undertaking while repensentating his citizens at the national legislature.

Hon Karfiah explained that his sponsorship towards the young leadership Empowerment forum is his own way of indentifying with the young people of the county.

However participants who attended the career and leadership development training program appreciated the efforts of the organizer for organizing said program in Gbarnga, thereby encouraging their friends to practice good Leadership skills in their different schools in the county.

According to student Mathaline Doba and other who spoke to Journalists after the training practicing good Leadership skills in Liberia should be the agenda of the day while working to see a better Liberia

She believes that when other local and national organizations begin to train Young emerging Leaders Liberia stand a very good chance to develop.
