In commemoration of Abraham Day, People’s Liberation Party donates fifty 25kg bags of rice and one cow to the Muslim community in Montserrado County.

Tuesday July 20, 2021 has been declared as Abraham Day and will also be celebrated by Muslims across Liberia.

Making the donation Monday in Monrovia, the National Chairman of the People’s Liberation Party, Wilmot Paye said it is a policy of the party to recognize the invaluable contributions of the religious community.

Paye said the party has promised to always identify with the religious community in the country as a way of fostering national unity among citizens.

Receiving the items on behalf of the Muslim community, the Chairman of the National Muslim Council of Liberia, Sheikh Abdullah Mansaray thanked the party for the donation.

According to him, the donation shows that Liberians are united despite their religious, political and tribal backgrounds.
