MONROVIA, Liberia – The University of Liberia (UL) Student Disciplinary Committee has announced plans to take disciplinary action against members of the Student Unification Party (SUP) and any other students found involved in recent acts of vandalism at the Capitol Hill campus.
In a statement issued in Monrovia, the Committee expressed serious concern over videos and photos circulating on social media that allegedly show students splashing and smearing paint on walls of several campus buildings, including the Graduate School and other facilities.
The Committee described the actions as deliberate vandalism and a clear violation of the Student Handbook, noting that such behavior undermines the academic environment and disrespects university property.
According to the statement, all students linked to the incident will be investigated, and those found culpable will face appropriate disciplinary measures in line with university regulations.
The Committee strongly condemned the acts and urged students to demonstrate responsibility, discipline, and respect for institutional property, while reaffirming its commitment to maintaining order and protecting the reputation of Liberia’s premier public university.
